- Material: High-quality food-grade stainless steel (304 or 316).

- Design: The fermenter typically features a cone-shaped bottom for sediment removal and a pressure cap for pressurization.

- Cooling jacket: Double or single cooling jacket (depending on the design) for temperature control during fermentation.

- Insulation: Polyurethane insulation to maintain a stable temperature and prevent heat loss.

- Pressure rating: The tank should be able to withstand higher pressure levels, typically up to 15-20 PSI (1-1.4 bar).
